EB Research Partnership Shares Moving Video, Seeks Donation for a Cure

December 1, 2015

The EB Research Partnership wants to thank the rare community for their #healeb efforts. This year, they will be able to distribute $1.5 Million in research grants towards the mission of finding a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

They recently released a video detailing a “Day in the Life” of patient, son, and one of the bravest young boys you’ll ever meet, Michael Fullmer. The video was produced with generous support from Shire.

The organization says that the good news is that a cure is within reach. EB Research Partnership is the largest nonprofit dedicated to funding research aimed at treating and ultimately curing EB. If you’d like to donate, use this very quick form: http://igfn.us/f/kfi/n

All of these funds are aimed at creating meaningful therapies and potentially a cure for EB. That goal is closer to being realized than ever before – more clinical trials are anticipated in the next three years than have taken place in the last ten!

Science is developing rapidly and the organization will do all that they can to help people living with EB now. They want to raise $100,000 to support critical early stage research by December 31st. Can you help them reach this goal by giving a donation or a monthly gift?

As Mikey has said when talking about the need for EB research, “Are you with me?”
