Remi Savioz Glut1 Foundation Virtual Run

May 3, 2012

On Sunday, May 6, 2012, James Dylan’s mom June, along with many other families, will be participating in an important challenge for her son and the Remi Savioz Glut1 Foundation (RSG1).  As a participant in a virtual run for Dick’s Sporting Goods Marathon and member of the Remi Savioz Glut1 Foundation (RSG1) Charity Team, June is committed to raising $250.00 or MORE.

Like many rare disease organizations, RSG1 is operated solely by volunteers.  Founded by the parents of Remi Savioz, a native from Pittsburgh suffering from a rare brain disease, every dollar raised is invested back into the organization and its mission – to raise money for research, education and a CURE for those who suffer from diseases affected by Glucose Transporters.

Funds raised for Glut1 DS & Glucose Transporter research also impacts diseases such as cancers, diabetes, epilepsy and Alzheimer’s.

The Remi Savioz Glut1 Foundation (RSG1) and I have a lot in common! We both feel that with the support of people who care – such as our friends and families…Anything is possible! – June

For those interested in supporting June and the Remi Savioz Glut1 Foundation (RSG1) initiative, you can visit June’s personal web page HERE.

The foundation will provide receipts for tax purposes for all donations.
