Producers at The Balancing Act® on Lifetime are wearing their ribbons in support of Wear That You Care™.

Global Genes Project a leading patient advocacy organization representing the rare and genetic disease community, is inviting industry partners, patients, caregivers, family and friends of the tens of millions of people who suffer from rare and genetic diseases to Wear That You Care™ during the month of February to support the sixth annual World Rare Disease Day on February 28, 2013.
The mission of Behind the Mystery: Rare and Genetic Diseases is to educate the public about rare and genetic diseases and treatments, and provide support through collaborations in education with pharmaceutical companies, foundations and patient advocacy groups. Currently, The Balancing Act is the ONLY television show that with a special of this kind, working to bring awareness to the plight of RARE disease suffers and the quest for FDA approved treatments and therapies.
