The Face Forward is for young adults with rare genetic, metabolic, and mitochondrial conditions. The mission of the project is to develop leadership, advocacy and life skills, in order to achieve good health, positive behavior, socioeconomic success and civic engagement. It is for young adults with aspirations to one day live an independent healthy adult life.

The summer conference is the signature event. Thanks to donations from our generous supporters the three night-four day conference held this year at the Warren Center in Ashland, MA, is FREE!

This year’s conference includes multiple workshops, music and dance parties, art, delicious food, cooking challenges, yoga and even a ropes course. We invite all young adults living with rare mitochondrial, genetic, and metabolic conditions between the ages of 15-23 to join us this year!
