Many thanks to designer Kimberly Idalski, an artist and member of the Polymer Clay Artists Guild of Etsy PCAGOE .  Kimberly has graciously created bracelets for the Polymer Clay Artists’ Challenge as well as the monthly challenge for the Art Bead Scene and donated them to our Bracelets program and upcoming Tribute of Champions Gala.

The gala will recognize individuals and organizations who are working tirelessly to help millions of children and families impacted by over 7,000 different types of rare diseases.  Although Kimberly became disabled from a tragic car accident in 2005, her love for jewelry making has provided her a way to enrich the lives of others with the pretty art she creates.

Kimberly’s two inspirations for the challenge were  “7000 Bracelets for Hope” and a painting by Pablo Picasso “Two Acrobats and A Dog”.  Kimberly used polymer clay canes to make all of her beads with the idea of creating a beautiful focal bead. She also added pearls and gold link chain as embellishments for one of the donated pieces.

I was really excited to be able to work with the 7000 Bracelets for Hope project.  I’ve put a lot of love into my pieces. The flowers and most of the beads are made from polymer clay with some Swarovski Crystal pearls for accents. One of my creations is a ‘Cha Cha’ bracelet, which just means full dangle bracelet. I hope you love it as much as I have enjoyed creating it.  I called this bracelet “Cha Cha for Hope”.  I am looking forward to creating many more focal beads for the 7000 Bracelets program in the future.  Blessings and Hope. –Kimberly

Kimberly’s jewelry designs can be found in her stores on both Etsy and Artfire or on Kimi’s blog.

Thank you Kimberly for giving hope to so many families through your wonderful jewelry!
