You hear him on the radio–but did you know that Froggy from Elvis Duran and the Morning Show has been suffering from a rare disease called acromegaly for what his doctor’s believe is the past 10 years? In partnership with Novartis, the morning show will be helping to promote a campaign called “Straight Talk Acromegaly.”
Straight Talk Acromegaly has kicked off with a series of media interviews with Froggy and an endocrinologist in addition to the launch of several materials now featured on the disease awareness website, www.acromegalyinfo.com:
Twitter Chat Hosted by Novartis
Straight Talk is also working to coordinate a real-time Twitter chat featuring Froggy and his endocrinologist; tweeting about acromegaly and answering questions directly from the acromegaly community and those who want to learn more about living with the disease. This Twitter chat, hosted by Novartis, is scheduled to take place mid-November. Check www.acromegalyinfo.com for more information.
