On September 13th, the EveryLife Foundation will host the eighth annual Rare Disease Scientific Workshop at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Washington, DC.

This year’s workshop will highlight recent case studies for companies looking to provide patients early access to experimental therapies.  Current methodologies will be discussed and evaluated with the goal of identifying best practices and useful ideas to create a set of standard approaches to early access.  Representatives from various rare disease stakeholder groups including industry, government, and patient advocacy organizations will have the opportunity to engage with one another in this interactive day-long forum.

The Public Policy Working Group of the Foundation’s Community Congressis assisting in the planning of the workshop.
