2017 Narcolepsy Meetups Tour

Global Genes
Invites Patients and Families
Living with Narcolepsy
to Special Regional Meetings

Finding out that you or a loved one has narcolepsy can be difficult. But you are not alone. In fact, sharing experiences with other patients and families affected by narcolepsy can help decrease isolation and provide valuable information and support.

Global Genes invites individuals over the age of 16 to join us for a customized event to meet others affected by narcolepsy. During these events, attendees will be able to discuss the challenges of living with narcolepsy and learn new strategies for managing the disease, while gaining valuable information from leading experts and building relationships with others affected by narcolepsy. Topics include:

  • Disease and treatment options
  • The effect of isolation on patients and families
  • Challenges of being an adult patient versus a family with an affected child
  • Resources and support for patients, families and caregivers
  • Connecting and maintaining relationships with other narcolepsy families
