Lumena Hosts Patient-Focused Webinar on Rare Cholestatic Liver Disease

February 10, 2014

From Our Foundation Partners Here at Global Genes.

Please join us on Valentine’s Day for a one hour patient-focused webinar hosted by Lumena Pharmaceuticals; Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10:30am EST/15:30 GMT.

Our Valentine’s Day webinar will feature Lumena senior staff as well as leading independent hepatologists addressing cholestatic liver disease in adults and children. We will have Marlyn Mayo, MD from UT Southwestern Medical Center with us to provide a perspective on cholestatic liver disease in adults. We are looking forward to hearing from you about what’s important to the patients and families you serve. We would also like to share information and updates on our drug development program and clinical trials.

Lumena is an early stage biotech company focused on better treatment options for adults and children living with rare cholestatic liver diseases. Lumena currently has two compounds aimed at not only carrying a reduced risk of systemic toxicities by selectively targeting a transporter in the intestine but is also designed to be minimally absorbed in the body. Phase II studies in children with Alagille syndrome and adults with PBC have been initiated. In addition, studies in children with progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC) and adults with PSC are planned.

Please confirm your attendance to [email protected] by Friday, February 7, 2014. We encourage you to share this invitation with any of your colleagues who are interested in this topic; they are also welcome to participate.

We look forward to meeting you in the virtual conference room on February 14, 2014.
