Awareness During Undiagnosed Disease Day

April 29, 2016

An undiagnosed disease is a medical condition without a known cause, despite a lot of evaluation.

On Undiagnosed Day, you can help millions of children and their loved ones find comfort and confidence, by letting them know they are not alone in their search for answers.

Undiagnosed Day takes place on the last Friday of April each year. Its objective: to raise awareness for those living with undiagnosed diseases, and the emotional, physical, and financial impact these diseases have on patients and their families.

It is imperative to raise awareness for the importance of genetics in the diagnostic odyssey of undiagnosed patients.

This campaign is directed primarily at the general public, but also seeks to raise awareness among policy makers, public authorities, industry representatives, researchers, health professionals, and anyone else who has a genuine interest in undiagnosed diseases and genetics.
