Balancing Her Life Through Clay, Line Labrecque Participates In 7,000 Bracelet Program

November 25, 2012

Play Sculpt Live‘s Line Labrecque is a self-taught polymer clay artist, who started experimenting—or “playing”— with polymer clay about three years ago. Her company name, Play Sculpt Live, was chosen to reflect her most fundamental life philosophy: she believes everyone needs a balance of play and work to have a well-lived life. Striving for balance may not always be easy, but it should always be fun.

She considers herself lucky that her involvement with clay is apart of both her work and play. She loves how versatile and adaptable clay can be. Like magic in her hands, the clay can be sculpted in such as a way that it appears to be another medium.  Line Labrecque’s “zen time” is when she gets the opportunity to sculpt it. She hopes her clay pieces transmit that same peace to their new homes.

Line Labrecque learned about the 7,000 bracelet program through a blog on the internet and suggested it to her fellow members of the Polymer Clay Guild On Etsy (PCAGOE) for the August Charity Challenge for 2012.

It seemed a perfect match since many of us make and sell jewelry on Etsy.   -Line
