BID to RID AHC! Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood Foundation Online Auction Hosted by Auction Frog

November 12, 2013

Organization: Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood Foundation – AHCF

AHCF is holding an online Auction from November 1 – November 16th. As the Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood Foundation (AHCF) celebrates its 20th year as a nonprofit organization, we look to the generous individuals and businesses to assist us in raising awareness and financially supporting research.

Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC) is a rare neurological disorder that results in attacks of paralysis usually affecting one side of the body (hemiplegia) or the entire body. These attacks can last for minutes or often last several days (even weeks) and generally result in mental and physical delays. The cause(s) of AHC is unknown, and there is no known cure for the disorder. There is only an estimated 800 children/adults worldwide and roughly 300 children/adults in the United States. The AHCF provides support to families and children/adults with AHC by funding research and raising awareness.

We have great items big and small, something for everyone! Monetary Donations are also welcome and will go to our Fund a Need designation. Our 2014 Family Meeting to be held in Minneapolis, MN.
