We welcome the holiday season, a time for family and friends, joy and HOPE. As 2017 comes to a close, we celebrate RARE families and give thanks for our community. We are a community of impassioned doers who understands that patients and caregivers are architects in the health of their individual disease communities. Such is the inspiration for the Global Genes RARE Patient Impact Grant Program.
RARE PATIENT IMPACT GRANT PROGRAM
The RARE Patient Impact Grant Program funds projects that fulfill unmet needs of the RARE community. It is the key funding source of projects spear-headed by members of specific RARE disease organizations, who lead innovative, scalable solutions to RARE disease challenges, making tangible differences in the lives of RARE patients and caregivers. This year’s Global Genes Tribute to Champion of Hope Awards event, hosted in September, launched our annual campaign to support the RARE Patient Impact Grant Program, and raised $70,103 towards our $100,000 annual goal.
