Through unique partnerships with Chicago’s Sharing Notes Foundation and Retrophin, Harmony 4 Hope has collected dozens of iPods to deliver the uplifting power of music to sick children. The donated devices will be repurposed to contain both a Sharing Notes and Harmony 4 Hope Playlist. The repurposed devices will then be donated to Chicago’s La Rabida Children’s Hospital and Seattle Children’s Hospital in recognition of World Rare Disease Day 2015.

On February 27th, at La Rabida Hospital there will be live music provided by friends at Sharing Notes as together, they gift the donated devices for inpatient use. The mission of La Rabida is to provide care to children with lifelong medical conditions regardless of family’s ability to pay. La Rabida specializes in treating children with Sickle Cell Anemia and Cerebral Palsy. Through the power of music Harmony 4 Hope is building community and raising funds for Rare Disease. We are honored to service our community in this way.
