Rare Disease Celebration with the Sacramento Kings!

February 24, 2016

Location: Sleep Train Arena – 1 Sports Parkway – Sacramento, CA 95834

Rare Disease Day recognizes the crucial role that patients play in voicing their needs and in instigating change that improves their lives and the lives of their families and carers. People living with a rare disease and their families are often isolated. The wider community can help to bring them out of this isolation.

Join the IPPF and other rare disease organizations as we celebrate World Rare Disease Day on February 29, 2016 at Sleep Train Arena! Come watch the Sacramento Kings take on rival Western Conference powerhouse the Oklahoma City Thunder. GAME TIME IS 7:00 PM. Arrive at 6:00 and watch the players warm up from down near the court! We also will have 20 of our guests holding the flag on the court during the National Anthem!*

Your $30 ticket gets:

  • one ticket in Section 123 (lower level)
  • one pair of #healourskin sunglasses
  • one commemorative 2016 RDD t-shirt
  • early floor-level access to watch pre-game shoot around
  • a chance to hold the US Flag on the floor during the National Anthem*

Rare Disease Day is an annual observance held on the last day of February to raise awareness for rare diseases and improve access to treatments and medical representation for individuals with rare diseases and their families.
Together we will raise awareness for all rare diseases!
