Share Your Pictures for MPS Awareness Day!

May 15, 2015

International MPS Awareness Day is May 15th. The MPS Society seeks to educate all readers about the disease through a series of creative challenges on their website. They’re asking people to wear purple, the disease’s signature color.  Have you been watching their countdown to the awareness day with  “Did You Know” daily facts?
Now they need your help! If you or someone you know is an MPS patient and would be willing to share their story with the society, please email them with a brief description to [email protected]. They just may feature you in Courage, their quarterly publication!

MPS Awareness day began as a way to honor all of those in the MPS Community, to recognize, remember and rejoice in each other.

On MPS Awareness Day we:

– Remember all the children and adults who suffer from MPS and related diseases.
– Think about the children we have lost.
– Think about the doctors and scientists who are dedicated to finding a cure for MPS and related diseases.
– Appreciate each other and are thankful for the strength and support we both give and receive.
