Acquired reactive perforating collagenosis (ARPC) generally evolves during adulthood. and is commonly recognized as an unusual skin reaction to superficial trauma that is observed in patients with a certain genetic predisposition or underlying diseases, such as diabetes mellitus or renal diseases; however, it may also occur in patients with other systemic diseases, in association with medications, and in patients without an underlying disease. The management of the coexisting disease is quite crucial.
