Anophthalmia Cleft Palate Micrognathia
Type of disease: Rare conditions
Anophthalmia Cleft Palate Micrognathia is a rare combination of birth defects, or a syndrome. This syndrome is characterized by the absence of one or both eyes, cleft palate (a hole in the roof of the mouth), and an undersized jaw. There have been very few reports of people with this syndrome, and therefore treatment varies from case to case, and depends on the patient’s specific birth defects.
