Cranio osteoarthropathy is a form of hypertrophic osteoarthropathy, which is a syndrome characterized by clubbing of the digits and arthritis. Cranio osteoarthropathy presents itself in childhood and symptoms may include a curving of the fifth fingers, inflammarion of the skin or joint problems. Although there is currently no cure for cranio osteoarthropathy, there are various resources to help manage the condition and treat birth defects. Doctors seek help from various therapists and community services to provide support and care for families affected by cranio osteoarthropathy. About 30 cases have been reported in the literature.
