Keratosis palmoplantaris papulosa

Keratosis palmoplantaris papulosa is a genetic disorder that affects the skin. It is a type of punctate palmoplantar keratoderma. Signs and symptoms include tiny hard rounded bumps of thickened skin on the hands and feet.  It is passed through families in an autosomal dominant fashion.   Currently no gene(s) involved in keratosis palmoplantaris papulosa has been identified.Source: Genetic and Rare Diseases Information Center (GARD), supported by ORDR-NCATS and NHGRI.
