Ovarian low malignant potential tumor
Type of disease: Rare conditions
Ovarian low malignant potential tumors occur when abnormal cells grow in the tissue covering the ovary, but usually do not cause cancer. Early ovarian low malignant potential tumors may not exhibit any symptoms, but symptoms can include pain or swelling in the abdomen, pain in the pelvis, or gastrointestinal problems, such as gas, bloating, or constipation. With early diagnosis, patients have a good chance of recovery.
