Zinc, elevated plasma is a very rare condition characterized by abnormally high levels of zinc in the blood. No signs, symptoms, or negative effects have been associated with this condition. The genetic change responsible for this condition is currently unknown and how the condition is passed from parent to offspring is also still unknown. Although this condition is most likely benign, talk with your doctor if you think you may be experiencing any negative effects associated with high levels of zinc plasma.
