Associate, Marketing & Communications

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Associate, Marketing & Communications supports the marketing team in elevating Global Genes’ brand awareness in order to execute on our mission of empowering and activating a global community of rare disease advocates. This position plays an integral role in the development and management of content and assets to engage and connect a growing global community. 

You will be responsible for managing and optimizing success of campaigns through multiple marketing channels including but not limited to social media, website, external communications, and email; all in a fast-paced media environment. This role also entails ownership of social media management and email marketing.

Project Manager – RARE-X Research

ROLE SUMMARY:

Global Genes is looking for a Project Manager to join the team to manage a diverse spectrum of RARE-X research initiatives.

This position will manage the planning, initiation, and execution of multifaceted strategic and research-related projects, and serve as project point-of-contact and liaise between sponsoring organizations and other collaborating organizations.

The RARE-X research program enables robust data collection, sharing, analysis and federation of natural history data for rare disease, with the goal of partnering with patient advocates to accelerate rare disease research.

Survey Translation Support Intern/Associate — French or Portuguese

ROLE SUMMARY:

Global Genes is looking for a looking for a Translation Support Intern to join our team on a part-time basis. The internship requires 10-15 hours of remote work per week. This position may evolve into a longer term and potentially full-time position.

The ideal candidate will have base-level knowledge in data collection / structure and be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in biology, chemistry, or related fields.

User Acceptance Testing Intern

ROLE SUMMARY:

Global Genes is looking for a UAT – Biostatistics Intern to join our team. The internship requires approximately 20 hours of remote work per week and ideally, we would like the intern to commit to a 6-month internship.

The ideal candidate will have at least one class successfully completed in biostatistics or coding, and be familiar with medical terminology, medical coding, and ontologies.
