The Spastic Paraplegia Foundation invites you to the Annual Conference to learn, share, network, spark collaboration, and have fun! Mark your calendars to join us beginning at 7:00am Friday, July 22nd ending at 12:00pm (Noon) Sunday, July 24th, 2022.
There are guest speakers who are world-renowned researchers.
HSP and PLS are neurological disorders affecting the voluntary muscles. The disorders are progressive and may lead to patients being unable to walk, and more. The Spastic Paraplegia Foundation is dedicated to advancing research and finding cures for two groups of closely related, progressive neurological disorders: Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS) and Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP).

John K. Fink, MD, is a professor in the Department of Neurology and director of the Neurogenetic Disorders Program in the University of Michigan Medical School. He directs basic science laboratory research focused on identifying genes and mechanisms responsible for age-dependent neurologic degeneration; and on developing treatments for these conditions.
