Nikki Berry

Creative Manager

Berry  joined the Global Genes team in December 2014. As the Creative Manager she works closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to maintain brand identity in print and digital awareness pieces, as well as on the website. As part of her job, Berry designs shareable imagery for social media to inspire and unite the RARE community.

Before joining the Global Genes team, Berry was the Fashion Show Creative Director for the Huntington Harbour Philharmonic Committee’s Junior Fashion show Fundraiser for two years.  Later, as an intern, she gained web design and marketing experience working for the bohemian fashion company, Cleobella.   She then became the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer for CGP Management company which oversees Chris’ and Pitt’s BBQ Restaurants.  In her spare time, she is also the VP of Marketing and Design for Huntington Harbour Philharmonic Committee, which encompasses both the Huntington Harbour Cruise of Light® and Huntington Harbour Boat Parade. These groups help to bring music programs to our public schools.  As an independent contractor, she still works with CGP Management, and gained several other contracts for different companies creating and managing websites.

Berry graduated from Concordia University, Irvine, where she earned her Bachelor of Art in Studio Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design.  While attending Concordia University, she had her artwork published for two years in the Concordia Aerie, as well as displayed each year in the Student Art Exhibition.  She had the opportunity to display one of her works in the Lewis Elton Art Gallery in London for one semester. Berry loves to expand her knowledge and is always interested in learning the newest design and marketing tactics.

When she isn’t working she loves to travel and take her black lab to the beach.  She also loves building websites and graphics in her free time.  Her works can be viewed through her online portfolio at haveagoodfunday.com.
