Rare Disease Report Interviews Wendy White: In Praise of Global Genes

Rare Disease Report recently interviewed Wendy White on the core culture of Global Genes.

White called the group, “The kind of grass roots, bottom up conference where maybe a third are of the people are a parent or patient advocate, a third are government or other people working in the system, and another are a third are working in the industry…but the point is you can’t tell who’s who. Everyone is together, looking at the problems, the common causes across different disease states and mentor the organizations so they can be more effective.”
“The more that we can collaborate, the faster that we can achieve better outcomes. And to me that’s one of the most exciting things is that core purpose and culture that Global Genes provides.”
