“The Voice” Contestant Chris Mann To Perform at Global Genes Project Benefit in Newport Beach

August 25, 2012

Chris Mann, who appeared on Season 2 of The Voice, will perform live on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at the Balboa Bay Club & Resort to help support the Global Genes Project and raise awareness for the millions of people afflicted with rare and genetic diseases.

Chris began his career in music as an opera singer in Italy after graduating from Vanderbilt University.  Following his appearance on The Voice, he has emerged on the scene as an artist to watch.  His blend of classically-trained tenor and contemporary pop vocals is a sound that is rare in the world of music today.

Chris’ voice has been featured on the Glee soundtrack as well as numerous television shows and movies including Avatar, and Letters to Juliet.

“Chris Mann is a great talent with a voice that is one of the best I’ve come across in many years.  He is a true rising star.” – Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds

“Chris embodies all the great qualities that I love about great singers. His talents seem limitless and I hope we will continue to work together in the future.” – David Foster
