Blood Test Can Provide Earlier Diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder

Early diagnosis and intervention can improve outcomes for children with autism spectrum disorder but arriving at a diagnosis can be difficult at an early age. To diagnose the condition, doctors have relied on behavioral tests and the average age of diagnosis in the United States is more than 4 years.
