Invisible Syndrome

July 11, 2022

Author: Lauren McCall Reagan McCall Cohen-Gibson Syndrome
Reagan was diagnosed with an ultra rare overgrowth syndrome called Cohen-Gibsom Syndrome about 4 years ago. It was newly discovered during this time so not much is known about the syndrome or long-term effects. Reagan most recognized features are her very large hands and feet. She also has significant intellectual delays and sensory disorders. School and social situations are very difficult for her. We are trying day by day to help Reagan understand her syndrome, as best we can, and how to navigate making friends and helping others understand her and her needs.
