Kari Asbury, Of Hippie Chick Jewelry & Design, Donates 10 Bracelets To Bring Comfort To Others

November 24, 2012

Many of Kari Asbury’s jewelry, available through Etsy, feature artisan beads and pendants, like several of the bracelets she donated to the 7000 Bracelets of Hope program. Although she has always considered herself a creative person, it was only about 13 years ago when she discovered her love of beads. Her beginning projects included decorative beaded wires that were used for beautifying wine and champage glasses. But she quickly transitioned to different projects, such as earrings, bracelets and necklaces.

Completely self-taught, Kari has yet to come across a technique that she could not master. And she revels in challenging herself.

I’ve been designing jewelry for 13+ years. I enjoy making unique and one-of-a-kind designs. I love art beads and unique materials. This is my second time donating to this wonderful program, after hearing through a fellow artisan that there was immediate need for bracelets. I am delighted to be donating 10 bracelets this time around. I hope they bring comfort and a reminder that the wearer is not alone in this fight.

A published jewelry designer, Kari Asbury strives to offer a wide variety of fun, fresh jewelry, and many of her designs are one-of-a-kind.

Please view her Facebook page to learn more about her upcoming projects.

Thanks Kari for the many bracelets you donated! We appreciate your continued support!
