NYC Health and Hospital are celebrating World Rare Disease Day this year with a day of events!
 

Did You Know??

1 in 10 people has a rare disease. More than half affect children.

There are over 7,000 rare diseases. Only 5% have treatment.

There are more Americans living with a rare disease than ALL of those who have either heart disease, HIV or stroke.
