Invitae Creating Patient Insights Network (PIN) to Help Share Health Data

April 19, 2017

Last week, Invitae announced the launch of the Invitae Patient Insights Network℠ (PIN), an opt-in, patient-centered network designed to help patients share their de-identified data and health experiences in a way that protects their privacy with the hope of advancing research and care for patients. The Invitae PIN is the latest expansion of our Genome Network, an essential part of the company’s work to bring genetics into mainstream medical care.

The next step in this important effort is to build participation in the Invitae PIN, beginning with open enrollment for people with a personal or family history of cancer or who have had genetic testing for cancer predisposition. Enrollment in the PIN for patients with conditions in additional clinical areas, such as cardiology and neurology, will open throughout 2017.

We need your help

We want to get as many patients enrolled in the PIN as possible. You can help by visiting the PIN page at pin.invitae.com or by reading our press release, and sharing the effort with your network. Re-tweet, re-post and re-share Invitae’s social posts on your own Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn channels to get the word out to as many people as possible. Encourage those close to you to check out the PIN and pass along the information to their networks.

Thank you for your support

Thank you in advance for helping us make this effort a success in order to help better inform patients who have a family history of hereditary disease.
