The Little Miss Hannah Foundation is going to be launching their new program in honor of what would have been Little Miss Hannah’s 6th birthday (July 25) – Hannah’s Care Bags.
These bags will be delivered to Las Vegas area Pediatric Intensive Care Units to provide comfort and care to those families who have children hospitalized in the PICU.
When you have a child in the PICU, you may spend days or weeks without ever leaving the hospital. The Foundation wants to be able to help care for these families so they can concentrate on caring for their kids.
This is a need that our local hospital childlife teams have been asking for help with since many of the families that end up spending time in the PICU do so without warning and are there for days at a time. We want to be able to provide 250 of these bags by early 2015 and 500 bags by the end of 2015.
Once we reach our goal to be able provide 500 bags to Southern Nevada hospitals, any additional money raised here will be used to send these bags to PICU units in hospitals in Central and Northern Nevada.

The Little Miss Hannah Foundation was created in memory of Hannah Ostrea, a beautiful brave fighter who always had a smile on her face. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for young children diagnosed with life-limiting rare diseases, undiagnosed complex medical needs, and children who have been placed in hospice or palliative care in Southern Nevada.
