Taylor Stein is ready for her close-up.
The daughter of nightclub owner Howard Stein, and granddaughter of loan shark Ruby Stein, is the subject of a documentary that will chronicle how she helped the FBI nab an international baby-selling ring.
Later, Stein’s adopted son Ren was diagnosed with a rare disease, spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), and Stein has been fighting to find a cure for it.
Taylor has an elder daughter, Djuna, who was fathered by cosmetics heir William Lauder.
Producer Karin Hayes told me, “The film tells the story of Taylor Stein’s journey from party girl to a mother who has been thrown into the world of a rare disease.”
