Melissa Strodtbeck, Finance Manager

Melissa Strodtbeck’s background includes a variety of corporate accounting and finance experience.  She’s one of those nutty individuals who loves being knee-deep in numbers.  She started her career with IBM, and managed the accounting side of a large manufacturing line relocation between states. She went from one “chip manufacturer” to another when she transferred her talents to Frito-Lay’s finance department.  At Frito-Lay, she managed regional sales and field expenses for several teams, cultivating cross-functional ownership of profit results and trade-off decisions.  She led many teams in annual plan development, as well as managing corporate teams that included Capital Spending, Fixed Assets, and Headquarters G&A.  One of her favorite side-projects was heading up the MBA recruiting for the company’s Finance Department new hires.  Most recently, as owner of Business Solutions Rx, she has consulted with companies needing help with various Finance needs.

Her nonprofit experience includes serving as Treasurer on the board of Women Helping Women, teaching Project Business for Junior Achievement, serving on the Advisory Board for Biola University’s MBA program start-up, and serving on the Taskforce Advisory Board for Faith in Motion.  She is passionate about building communities of support for foster kids in Orange County, their families, and their guardians.

Melissa has a BBA from Baylor University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.  She is a mom of two wonderful kids and one huge dog. In her spare time, you’ll find her at whatever sport her kids are up to, traveling, reading, quilting, or spending time with family and friends.
