Rare Partnering

Presented by Global Genes – Allies in Rare Disease

Thursday, September 14, 2017

RARE Partnering 2017 is a forum to catalyze partnering and collaboration opportunities between innovative researchers, research institutions and companies with an interest in rare disease. This first year event will be held for one full day Thursday September 14, in conjunction with other widely attended rare disease focused annual events – the RARE Patient Advocacy Summit and the RARE Tribute to Champions of Hope September 14-16, 2017. RARE Partnering will welcome a limited number of presentations solely focused on science impacting rare disease, including other unique networking opportunities.

“Patients and their families are the most powerful drivers of the orphan drug development process. They allow us to understand the purpose, the urgency. They allow us to focus and to explain to the many parties involved. They allow us to acquire the passion to succeed and to never give up … Nothing is more important.”   – Henri Termeer, Former Chairman, President and CEO, Genzyme Corporation
