“We need your help. Congress is now considering how much funding to provide the National Institutes of Health – and the National Cancer Institute for 2017. We need you to send a message to your Representatives and urge them to support more research for childhood cancer.
The Senate has approved a $2 billion increase in medical research funding – which includes support for childhood cancer. The House has only provided an increase of $1.3 bill, as recently reported on our blog. Please urge your members of Congress to push for the higher Senate number using the simple form on the left. And add your personal story so Congress knows why each additional research dollar matters.
