Type of disease: Rare conditions
Cerebellar Liponeurocytoma is a condition characterized by rare, slow-growing tumors in the cerebellum, or the area of the brain that controls muscle coordination and balance. Symptoms may include headache, vomiting, altered consciousness, dizziness, and unsteadiness. Fewer than 50 cases of cerebellar liponeurocytoma have been reported. This condition usually presents between 58-60 years, and is more common in females than in males. Treatment varies on a case-by-case basis, and may include radiation therapy or chemotherapy.
