What personal data do we collect?

The personal data we collect depends on whether you just visit our website or use our services. If you visit our website, you do not need to provide us with any personal data.   • When you visit the RARE-X DCP and use our Services, your personal data is processed on our behalf or jointly controlled by us and joint controllers. 
  • Your personal data is used by us to provide Services related to our mission to accelerate diagnosis, disease understanding, and development of future treatments and cures across rare diseases.

Data Transfers

Some of your data is shared with our data processors and joint controllers that are located outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK.  If we transfer your personal data outside of the EEA and UK, your data will be protected as required by the GDPR and UK GDPR.  Our protection measures include technical safeguards and use of the EU Standard Data Protection Clauses with the UK addendum. 

Your Rights

  • You have several rights including the right of access, rectification, erasure (right to be forgotten), restriction of processing, to data portability, to object to automated individual decision-making.
