RARE MeetUps™: A Place to Share Ideas, Learn, and Connect with Others Experiencing Rare Disease

November 2, 2012

It happens all the time.  The phone rings, the e-mails pour in, and the flurry of comments rush in on personal posts, individuals eager to find that one person or group for which they can discuss their fears, concerns, and sometimes the occasional advancing milestone.

People living with a rare disease or in need of a diagnosis all share similar feelings.  For many individuals, it’s the need  to not feel alone in their diagnosis, or wanting to make a difference for others with similar circumstances; and, for some it is the ability to gather information so their own experience of living with rare disease can be managed with greater care.

R.A.R.E. Project offers an opportunity to the rare disease community through their RARE MeetUps™  program to share ideas, learn, and connect with others (diagnosed or otherwise) who are also experiencing the world of rare and genetic diseases.

Take a moment to visit our RARE MeetUps™ Page  to learn about how you can get engaged with other people who are just like you.
