Director of Operations
The Head of Operations will work closely with the CEO and serve as a vital partner to the leadership team, HR, Finance and other functions to ensure that the organization operates effectively, compliantly, and consistent with our values and mission. In particular, the Head of Operations will bring an increased level of rigor and follow-through to the day-to-day running of the business, and also offer strategic guidance on how the organization can operate more effectively and efficiently as we continue to grow.
The Head of Operations role requires a confident, poised leader and professional who is skilled at managing financial, governance and human resources-related operational demands (in concert with managers of those functions) and who works collaboratively and effectively with other peers and staff at all levels. Attention to detail and responsiveness are essential skills.
Project/Program Manager – Patient Programs
Patient and capacity-building programs is an essential team at Global Genes. The work is highly visible in the rare community. Education is produced and delivered by multiple avenues including live and online learning, video, live and recorded education and programs. Alignment of programming is vital for success in meeting the Global Genes mission.
This role requires a confident, poised leader who is a great listener that takes the time to understand the needs of the community and can shape delivery of tools and resources for optimal impact and scalability across rare disease worldwide. An ideal candidate is a project manager, a creative problem solver and a relationship builder who fosters confidence in Global Genes, both internally and externally. Attention to detail, communication, analytical and multi-project management skills are essential skills.
Omnichannel Content Director
Global Genes’ impact model focuses principally on rare disease patients, caregivers and communities, and on connecting them with other key stakeholders that can help drive progress in their condition area and across rare diseases. We are re-crafting our content and engagement approach to better leverage our knowledge of and relationships with patient communities and influencers in rare disease. This includes looking toward events, online forums and engagement (e.g., via our RARE portal) and other venues, as well as to community leaders and influencers as sources of compelling, educational, modifiable, multi-purpose content.
The Omnichannel Content Director will oversee design, development, adaptation and production of digital/video content with an eye toward integrated engagement with desired rare disease stakeholders (patients/ caregivers, advocates/community influencers, researchers, clinicians and entrepreneurs and companies focused in rare disease).
Associate Manager, Marketing
The Associate Manager, Marketing supports the marketing team in elevating Global Gene’s brand awareness in order to execute on our mission of empowering and activating a global community of rare disease advocates. This position plays an integral role in the development and management of content and assets to engage and connect a growing global community. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing success of campaigns through multiple marketing channels including but not limited to social media, website, external communications, and email; all in a fast-paced media environment. This role also entails ownership of social media management and online community monitoring.
This role requires a superbly organized individual willing to execute and complete tasks as assigned. The Associate Manager is responsible for the efficiency and organization of materials delivered. This includes the tracking of data and contributing to the alignment of documents and activities within and across the team. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who establishes and builds lasting relationships and loyalty in Global Genes. Attention to detail and responsive customer service are essential skills.
